How Taxably contacts you.
Anyone can send an email that looks like it came from us. Here is what ours look like, what we never ask for, and what to do with a message you are not sure about.
Where our email comes from
Email about your account, your linked computer and your prep sheets comes from hello@taxably.ai, and a reply goes to support@taxably.ai.
You sign in to Taxably only at app.taxably.ai. A sign-in code arrives only after you, or someone using your email address, starts a sign-in there. If a code arrives that you did not ask for, do not give it to anyone.
What we never ask for by email
Taxably never asks you to send any of these by email:
- your password
- a sign-in or verification code
- a card number
- a client document or a tax ID
Cards are added and changed only on the payment page you open from Billing in your account. An email asking for any of the above is not from us, whatever the sender's name says.
If a message looks wrong
Do not open its links or attachments. Forward it to security@taxably.ai, then delete it. If you think someone has your password, reset it from the sign-in page at app.taxably.ai and tell us at the same address.
